All About Your Guide, Noelle
It's so nice to meet you!
- At a party, after making the rounds, I usually end up being the person off to the side deep in conversation, usually with someone I’ve just met (ha, ha!), as they tell me their life story. The conversation is usually followed up with them saying, “I don’t know why I just told you all that. You’re so easy to talk to. Thanks.”
- At a bar, after a few drinks, I’m the one singing to the good songs or dancing when a song with a beat comes on.
- At a club or a concert I’m in the dancing section, or I make my own.
- In the workplace I’m the one to acknowledge our passing with a smile and a head nod or a good morning greeting. If you catch me first I always respond with a greeting or a smile.
- I’m not trying to say that I have all the answers. I have a ton of questions, myself! When it comes to relationship suggestions and advice I have counseled many friends and people I just met who open up to me. As an example, my husband and I have been married since 2000. We have had to work through tough situations. We had to figure it out. We want to stay together, so we do. We find our way back to a loving and joyful place every time (so far). It's these experiences that help me be a good guide for you.
- I’m an ESFP Myers Briggs personality type, meaning I’m an extrovert who is friendly and entertaining. I'm observant and form/have strong feelings. I try not to be judgmental.
- Enneagram type 2: The Giver To define, I have a desire to belong and to be loved by others. They are helpful, nurturing and caring towards others. They are eager to involve themselves in others' lives. Twos rarely say no when others ask them for help, and want to prove value to others by always being there for them.
- I am over 10 on the masculine side of personality types, which is why when people talk with me about their problems I want to help them fix it, or at least help to make things better. Complaining to complain has it’s place, but if there are proactive things you can do to improve your situation, why don’t you? I’m good at building confidence to help you be a stronger, more assertive you.
- I have an AS degree from a Community College. I have two sons and have been married since 2000.
- I was born in Southern California and have lived here my entire life.
- I don’t like confrontations, but I don’t back away from them either. I stand my ground, and I will always have your back.
- Some frustrations that I have include passive-aggressive people, whiners, people who think and act like they’re better than others, self appointed martyrs, people who lie to me, self-entitled people, negative-mood cyclones, pity-parties, and hypocrites. I’m trying to be more accepting.
- I’m simply creating a safe place where questions can be asked and suggestions or advice can be given. Only a Behavioral Psychologist is able to tell you what to do or not do. But my friends and family do it all the time. I do it all the time, and who am I to tell someone what to do? I’m just another person with a brain and an opinion, it’s up to you to decide what to do. If many agree on advice, I’d most likely take it. Would you?
